Description
Description: The active interaction of the components of this product helps to improve complexion and effectively carry out the correction of hyperpigmentation of various origins.
Active Components:
- Kojic Acid (5 – hydroxy – 2 – hydroxymethyl – 4 – pyrone): As a product of fungal metabolism, it inhibits the catecholase activity of tyrosinase—the key enzyme in the biosynthesis of the skin pigment melanin, which determines the rate of the chemical reaction. Melanocytes exposed to Kojic Acid lose their dendrites, leading to a decrease in melanin content. Additionally, this acid eliminates active forms of oxygen released excessively by blood and other tissue cells. Thus, this fungal metabolite is a key component in skin depigmentation.
- L-Ascorbic Acid (Vitamin C): Effectively stimulates collagen synthesis in the skin, is a powerful antioxidant (preventing lipid peroxidation of cell membranes and premature skin aging), inhibits melanin formation, and brightens the skin.
- Azelaic Acid: Provides depigmenting (inhibits the growth and activity of abnormal melanocytes causing hyperpigmentation like melasma), antibacterial (suppresses the growth of Propionibacterium acnes), and anti-acne effects. It reduces pigmentation: used to eliminate melasma in patients with darker skin; used in patients with acne who have persistent brown spots remaining after treatment, known as actinic lentigo. Since the effect of azelaic acid is not sufficiently studied in patients with darker skin, this group of patients should be monitored for early signs of hypopigmentation.
INDICATIONS FOR USE: The serum components possess antibacterial and antioxidant properties, and also eliminate hyperpigmentation of various origins.
